#15 - Effie Shaw, Faculty of Liberal Arts (Character played by E. G.)
Club or Secret Society: Orbium Caelestium Faction Devington's students - Faculty: Liberal Arts - Orbium Caelestium - Gender: any - Player's Age: any - Advices: VILLA - this character sleeps in the Villa, with camping bed and sleeping bag
Teaser: Shaws seems unaffected by anything that happens. They analyse what they see with detachment. It is not disinterest, quite the contrary. They are very interested in what they see. For example, it is interesting to listen for the turns of phrase that are used to simply not tell things as they are, or the lies that are told to cover up the obvious. Sometimes it seems that a strange game is going on around them, of which everyone else knows the rules, but not Shaw. It often happens that they point out something very obvious, and that ends up infuriating more than one person.
They fail to understand the basic rules of the society around them. They always say what they think, without any malice - indeed, with a disarming candour. Very often, however, what they say breaks unwritten rules. They have a total disregard for the division between the Gifted and the Donors. Shaw only follows what they care about: music, first and foremost. Their nickname is "walkman".

Orbium caelestium
Those who look at the stars, look the right way. Members of the Orbium Caelestium wonder about the movement of the planets, the starry skies, and are guided by the suggestions of the zodiac, astronomy and astrology. They are said to be able to see the future, or at least that is what they strive to do: to know themselves and outline what is to come, probing into the complex workings of the cosmos. The Orbium does not only believe in Magic. The Orbium is magic. It shapes the world according to complex processes, which can be read in the stars or in ancient stories, in tarot cards or in unknown runes. For the members of this secret society, there is so much more than just Reality.Relations: S. Adams feels the need to tell lies to please people, but they do not do it with you, which is why your relationship is particularly open and sincere.
L. Hill wrote an article comparing you to the Oracle of Delphi. You have never understood the reason for this article, but you have started a friendship.
S. Bromfield picks on you and looks at you with contempt. Who knows why.
C. Preston seems to have taken you under his wing.
V. Roger, C. Lloyd and T. Saint-John Talbot are an exclusive little group whose main activities are: bragging, throwing parties, and mocking the school losers, among whom they include you.
C. Marshall has a quirky and sincere personality that amuses you.
#21 - Céleste Marshall, Faculty of Science (character available)
Club or Secret Society: Orbium Caelestium Faction Devington's students - Faculty: Science - Orbium Caelestium - Gender: any - Player's Age: any - Advices: VILLA - this character sleeps in the Villa, with camping bed and sleeping bag
Teaser: People tend to want to conform, look normal and hide their strange passions. Marshall is the complete opposite: geeky weirdo, and perfectly at ease with that. They believe in almost anything, no matter how bizarre, investigate it with enthusiasm and fiercely defend it against prevailing scepticism. They have a thousand truly nerdy hobbies and often talk profusely about them to pretty much anyone.
In high school they were often the butt of bullies' jokes, and even at Devington they are often teased or heavily criticised, but their enthusiasm, cheerfulness and genuine disregard for the judgments of others has always protected Marshall, who does not feel like a victim at all, despite their apparent fragility.
They have always thought of themself as queer and asexual, but recently they have been going through a phase of great confusion and unexpected desires.

Saint-John Talbot are an exclusive little group whose main activities are: bragging, organising parties, and making fun of the school losers, including yourself. Not surprising at all, you pity them and they make you laugh... especially V. Roger, who is particularly cruel to you.
You adore E. Shaw, they are one of your favourite people.
You are crazy about S. Finnermore, you want their approval, their attention and maybe even a T-shirt with their face printed on it so you can sleep in it. But your real obsession is S. Cunningham, unconventional and non-conformist professor. The word "obsession" is, unfortunately, not a hyperbole.
You have a soft spot for those who reject labels and hierarchy. You have always considered L. Reece a good friend, but recently you have had embarrassing dreams, and not only about them. You won L. Hill's friendship with great difficulty, but now that you feel sexual urges you are afraid of ruining everything.
#22 - Nolan Cave, Faculty of Science (Character played by A. K.)
Club or Secret Society: Orbium Caelestium Faction Devington's students - Faculty: Science - Orbium Caelestium - Gender: any - Player's Age: any - Advices: VILLA - this character sleeps in the Villa, with camping bed and sleeping bag
Teaser: Cave believes in the importance of education and, above all, in the Donation programme. They think that a person's worth is measured by their dedication to a noble purpose, and becoming a Donor is the noblest purpose of all. Their family history proves this: both their uncle and sister are Donors. They think there can be no better way to prove their worth, they despise those who do not understand the honour of becoming a Donor and, even more so, those who cannot make clear decisions.
However, over the years Devington has become a second home, and the friends they have made: a second family. They have found that their anticipation of the final day is tainted with worry. They have gained much from school: interests, loves, challenges, opportunities. They would never have imagined that it would be so difficult to leave them behind. Fantasies of Donor glory are mixed with hopes for a future that seems to be just beginning. They are ashamed of their doubts, but they cannot escape them. Are they building a future for themself or are they betraying everything they have always believed in?

Cave: you are a group of students who come from families with many Donors. That is why you have bonded with each other.
You are very fond of T. Thurston because of their unfortunate background. You want to offer help and closeness.
M. Wilder's sister received a donation from Lucy, your older sister. This has created an unbreakable bond. You feel deeply connected and believe that whatever happens to one of you, the other will share the same fate. You are now one family.
#23 - L. Gibbs, Faculty of Science (Character played by M. T.)
Club or Secret Society: Orbium Caelestium Faction Devington's students - Faculty: Science - Orbium Caelestium - Gender: any - Player's Age: any - Advices: VILLA - this character sleeps in the Villa, with camping bed and sleeping bag
Teaser: Gibbs comes from a large and very poor family. Many of their siblings have already been assigned to become Donors, so many that their social circle is called ''the Donation proletariat''. After arriving at Devington on a scholarship, Gibbs struck up an inexplicable friendship with some of the more prominent students, who, however, do not spare them from an attitude of superiority at times. Yet Gibbs is happy about it all the same, as long as it serves the purpose of raising their status.
Kiss up, kick down: it is no coincidence that Bloomsbury gave Gibbs the 'ass-kisser of the year' award. Gibbs loves to please others, be they classmates or professors, especially if it leads to favourable outcomes. They often show off with bragging and exaggerated tales, and have always used lies and manipulation to get where they want to be. They have learned the art of tarot cards to frighten and influence others.
Yet behind this veil of lies, Gibbs hides their fear of a fate that seems sealed for those in their family. All Gibbs has ever had around him is death. And this time they will not, and cannot, stand by and watch.

For the members of this secret society, there is so much more than just Reality.Relations: They're in a friendship group with S. O'Donnell, M. Cavendish and P. Cavendish.
A. Collins seduced you with their mysticism and dated you briefly. Then, they abandoned you, without the slightest regard for your feelings.
Reading tarot cards to H. Mason you mentioned bereavement, and discovered that you had inadvertently touched a sore spot. Will you use this knowledge to your advantage as usual, or will you be able to show your sympathetic side this time?
S. Finnemore has tried to convince you that there is truth in magic, and that it must be exploited to achieve one's own ends. They have said several times that they see potential in you.
#24 - Siobhan O'Donnell, Faculty of Science (Character played by E. L.)
Club or Secret Society: Orbium Caelestium Faction Devington's students - Faculty: Science - Orbium Caelestium - Gender: any - Player's Age: any - Advices: VILLA - this character sleeps in the Villa, with camping bed and sleeping bag
Teaser: O'Donnell comes from a family that is very wealthy but does not particularly care for its six children, neither emotionally nor financially. This character is as neglected by their parents as they are pampered by their friends. Loud-mouthed, excessive, chatty, carefree, scrounging and profligate, they hardly ever worry about being annoying or inappropriate.
They take almost nothing seriously, neither friendships nor university. They have very little respect for other people's property, albeit without any malice. They can be pushy well beyond the threshold of being annoying, but it is also extraordinarily pleasant to have O'Donnell at a party or among close friends. They seek a stable relationship, not to fall in love, but to find a way to pass the time and be pampered. They know no respect for personal boundaries, and sometimes good-naturedly think that everything is owed to them because of their likability and good character.

With Gibbs you make a nice group of friends.
You annoyed C. Lloyd during a party, but you had no intention of offending. The consequences were excessive.
Taking advantage of R. Powell is very easy: they will grant anyone's requests. All they need is to be told a couple of kind words. You don't do it maliciously, but not doing it is almost a waste.
S. Adams seems to consider you their favourite among the upper-class students. You don't mind them, but you already have your own group.
#50 - Caleb Preston, Professor of Psychology (Character played by L. S.)
Club or Secret Society: Orbium Caelestium Faction Professors and university staff - Faculty: Professors - Orbium Caelestium - Gender: any - Player's Age: any - Advices: VILLA - this character sleeps in the Villa, with camping bed and sleeping bag
Teaser: Time spent with Preston is reminiscent of being near family. Preston is protective and loving by nature, with an endearing, almost parental attitude. A psychologist by vocation, Preston teaches what they practice with the stated ambition to do good for young people. If there was anything to criticise Preston for, it would be that their kindness can sometimes border naivety. Their trust and genuine concern for the well-being of others means that they risk falling under the influence of those with less than charitable motives. Despite this, Preston is adored by students they mentor, and cares for the growth and education of these students - perhaps more so than any other member of faculty. Unfortunately, a curse seems to haunt Preston. Almost every student they mentor has ended up among the Donors. Like a gardener watching their flowers wither and die, Preston carries the burden of this knowledge with a heavy heart. This vulnerability disappears, however, when Preston teaches their subject in class. The slightly clumsy and awkward demeanour is all but replaced by the passion of a Socratic tutor, fervently inspiring wisdom in young, developing minds. Undeterred by the misfortunes of their past students, Preston maintains a steadfast belief in the magical power and influence of good deeds.

In your youth you were in the same secret society, and shared the same dreams and the same belief in being able to shape your own destiny.
You councelled Paul Mason, brother of H. Mason who unfortunately took his own life shortly before H. joined Devington.
You took E. Shaw under your wing.
L. Reece played a cruel prank on you, costing them three days suspension. They made you walk into the classroom where they hang up pictures of students you councelled who ended up on the Donors' list, with the words ''AT LEAST YOU TRIED!''.
You have a bad feeling about V. Roger and you tried to start a conversation but your words fell on deaf ears. You have, however, picked up worrying signs and do not want to give up.
#51 - Simon Finnemore, Professor of Astronomy (Character played by P. J.)
Club or Secret Society: Orbium Caelestium Faction Professors and university staff - Faculty: Professors - Orbium Caelestium - Gender: any - Player's Age: any - Advices: VILLA - this character sleeps in the Villa, with camping bed and sleeping bag
Teaser: Finnemore attempts to preserve traditions and push back against the ridicule that is modernity. The answer lies in the past, in the occult, in that which is secret. Certainly not in rock music or the study of contemporary art. The modern age is an age of intellectual decadence, and most people have lost what connected them to the magical and the divine. Finnemore fell in love with Devington with all their soul, because for centuries it remained a safe little corner of the world where students could be taught true values. Now, traces of outside life seep in. It must be stopped.
Strong-willed, fascinated by occult powers, invisible control, they consider themself the guardian of the knowledge of the ancients. Mystical and mysterious, at times frightening, certainly authoritative: they wish to mould minds and reality to restore the world to its proper form. In their youth, accompanied by some of their Devington friends, they devoted themself to the quest for power through stargazing and the study of star signs. Ever since then, Finnemore has never abandoned the childhood fantasy in which they are the incarnation of Atlas, and the stars are their daughters. They often indulge in fantasies that they would never admit aloud. They crave power and feel they need to demostrate they are worthy of wielding it.

You know each other from university - Devington - and in your youth you shared the same secret society, the same dreams and the same belief in being able to shape your own destiny.
You are in open conflict with D. Jennings: they are taking the art course in the wrong direction and they must be stopped.
On the contrary, you agree with K. Holland: there is something mystical in their way of thinking about music.
L. Gibbs has incredible potential. If they tried to learn how to channel their energy into real magic, they could achieve whatever they wanted.
C. Marshall often pesters you with nagging questions at the end of class.
